Varec, a Leidos company is currently searching for a Sales Coordinator to join our team. This a great opportunity for someone with some sales experience and looking to grow their skillset. The selected candidate will have exceptional skills in communication, engagement, collaboration, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will help develop and then help execute Varec’s sales strategy as well as engage with customers and prospective customers as part of the sales team. This role will require the candidate to develop an understanding of the market and competitive landscape, as well as the application and suite of products offered by Varec. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation skills, ability to connect with people and create insights from those interactions, analytical skills, experience with the software tools required for the position and business acumen in front of customers and distributors. The Sales Coordinator will play an active role in meeting the company’s sales targets.

The Challenge:

  • Assists in sales activities for Varec’s hardware, software, services and solutions
  • Helps to develop the sales strategy based on products, competition, market trends and revenue goals
  • Helps execute the Varec sales strategy
  • Supports sales activities, including demonstrations, sales visits, call lists, etc.
  • Helps plan and manage internal events for sales training, customer user groups, etc.
  • Supports the sales launch strategy for new products or updates to existing products
  • Assist with creation of the AOP and sales budget
  • Helps to develop and qualify new sales inquiries, providing technical review, including proposals, quotations, technical documentation and drawings.
  • Follows up on outstanding proposals, quotations and reports on the sales pipeline.
  • Helps pursue and develop new business for Varec product lines in conjunction with Sales Representatives.
  • Demonstrate automation products and application concepts directly with customers and answer a wide range of questions regarding the product lines.

What Sets you Apart: (Basic Requirements)

  • Junior Level: Bachelor’s degree or two plus (2 ) years of technical sales experience. May consider more years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Mid-Level: Bachelor’s degree or four plus (4 ) years of technical sales experience. May consider more years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
  • CRM experience
  • WordPress or similar CMS experience
  • Demonstrated track record of working across multiple teams and ability to influence decisions without direct authority
  • Ability to travel as needed domestically or internationally

You Might Also Have (our preferred qualifications) :

  • Two plus (2 ) years of experience working in a technical sales role
  • Experience working in technology or manufacturing sectors
  • Experience working with remote teams using online tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
